Getting started
How do I create a trip?
Tap the + button on the Trips tab, pick a city, set your dates and preferences, and Scout will generate a day-by-day itinerary for you.
How do I import a trip from Instagram or TikTok?
When viewing a travel reel, tap Share and select Spots. We'll extract the places mentioned and build a trip for you. You can also paste a link directly in the app via Import from link.
What is Scout?
Scout is your AI travel companion inside Spots. Ask it anything about your trip — restaurant recommendations, what to pack, local customs, or where to go next. It knows your trip details and personalizes answers to your travel style.
Trips & itineraries
Can I edit my itinerary?
Yes. Tap any day to see the schedule, then add, remove, or reorder stops. You can also ask Scout to refine the itinerary with natural language — "add more food spots" or "move dinner earlier."
Can I share my trip with friends?
Yes. Open a trip and tap the share icon. You can invite people as editors (can modify the itinerary) or viewers (read-only). They'll get an invite notification in the app.
How many trips can I create?
Free users can generate up to 3 itineraries per month. Premium users get unlimited itinerary generation.
Account & data
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data (trips, reviews, saved spots). This action cannot be undone.
What data does Spots collect?
Only what's needed to run the app: your email for auth, your trips and saved spots, and your location when you grant permission. We don't sell data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
