What we collect

Spots collects the minimum data needed to provide the service: your email address for authentication, your saved spots and trips, and optional profile information you choose to share. We use your location only when you explicitly grant permission, to show nearby places.

How we use your data

Your data is used to personalize recommendations, generate trip itineraries, and improve the app experience. We never sell your personal data to third parties. Analytics data (usage patterns, crash reports) is collected anonymously via Sentry and PostHog to improve app stability and features.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure keychain. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app (Profile → Delete account). You can export your data by contacting us at hello@usespots.com. We respond to data requests within 30 days.
